Snake Found in Sunderland Home
A WOMAN called police after finding an 18-inch snake slithering around her kitchen in Sunderland.
The brown and bronze-coloured creature was discovered in a house in Nora Street, around 6.20pm.
It is not known where the snake came from with all door to door inquiries proving negative, police said.
The RSPCA is due to collect the thin creature, which is not believed to be dangerous, from Farringdon Police Station in the morning.
