COULD the Beast be Back? Did it ever go away?

A big cats expert is on the prowl and delving into the mystery of Lytham's Beast of Green Drive.
Mark Fraser, of Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, has been researching mystery animals for the last 20 years – mainly big cat sightings – and founded the Big Cats in Britain group.
He contacted the Express because he was intrigued by the reports of the Beast of Green Drive from 2005 and wondered if the mystery had been solved.
Apparently it had when it was discovered that the Beast – which had been described as the size of a labrador and resembling a rabbit, fox, or something more sinister – was indeed an emaciated fox.
But the mystery may not have been solved.
"Some believe it has, others not," said Hull born Mark.
"I would like to contact witnesses who may have seen the creature, or anybody who has information on the story.
"All witnesses details will be held in confidence if they so wish.
"I am hoping to collate all the stories, theories etc into a small book.
"Any strange experiences from the area would be welcome."
