Premier Hunts Big Cat
DESPITE the new State Premier Nathan Rees putting any decisions on the peninsula's crippled transport and health systems on hold, yesterday he had time to go big cat hunting in Penrith. Yesterday, Mr Rees told reporters he believes big cats such as the so-called ``Penrith Panther'' are not just an urban myth. So convinced is Mr Rees, he told reporters in Penrith recent sightings of the mystery big cats may warrant combined investigation by the government and National Parks and Wildlife. ``I don't think it's necessarily an urban myth,'' Mr Rees said. ``There are too many people reporting sightings.'' One can only assume Mr Rees was talking tongue-in-cheek.
